A wonderful Journey through the Bible with Gospel and Traditional Music was held on 2nd July 2011
Prayer Visiting:
We visit throughout the summer months. Each month we visit one of the Houses on the Estate or streets in the area asking people what their needs are and then we commit to pray for them for that month.
Children’s Ministry:
We have activities for our younger members in all our services and they have their own group twice a month.

Music Group:
Music is central to our life at Christchurch and we do like to sing. At present we don’t have an organist but our worship is led by special worship CD’s and our Music Group. If you are interested in singing with the group or can offer musical skills

The Y Course:
A course for all those interested in finding out more about the Christian faith in an informal and fun way. Meets weekly in Christchurch Chapel.

Social Activities:
At Christchurch we love to meet together and to enjoy each others company. We have a church lunch on a Sunday after the morning service every two months. There is a Quiz night every other month and we have an annual outing. This year our outing will be to Cambridge on 12th September
Projects:
Philoxenia – (which means “Love of a stranger”)
A support Group for non documented migrant women with no recourse to public funds meets weekly on Thursday morning at the Wally Foster Centre from 10.30 am. We provide advice, support with finding the right help and applications for permission to remain in the UK, food and clothing, training and enjoyable activities.
